Two new Type-2 Fuzzy Logic Online tutorials have been recently released by the IEEE

Expert Now Tutorials programme. The tutorials are entitled:

• "Introduction to Type-2 Fuzzy Sets and Systems"

  by Professor Jerry Mendel

• "Type-2 Fuzzy Logic Controllers: Towards a New Approach for Handling Uncertainties in Real World Environments"

  by Professor Hani Hagras

The IEEE Expert now programme releases tutorials by world experts in the field which feature presentation material with voice over describing a given topic in detail. The tutorials also feature exercises which enable the tutorial user to gain complete knowledge about the subject.

The two new tutorials provide a complete introduction to students, researchers and engineers who would like to find more about type-2 fuzzy systems, their design and their potential applications. The first tutorial by Professor Mendel highlights the theoretical foundations about type-2 fuzzy logic sets and systems while the second tutorial by Professor Hagras highlights the practical aspects about developing type-2 fuzzy logic controllers for real world applications.
