Get Involved in Members Activities

Our Society continuously seeks volunteers to invent and develop new events and activities.

Why volunteering? What does it mean volunteering? Have a look at Volunteering.

Are you interested in doing anything in the members' activities areas? You are more than welcome to become one of our active members!

Here you find some examples of volunteering in these areas:

  • attend actively to meetings, events and activities of your Chapter: ask questions, interact with your peers, exchange ideas and experiences!
  • cooperate in organizing activities in your Chapter,
  • propose new activities in your Chapter,
  • suggest new services for CIS members and make yourself available to cooperate in their creation,
  • recommend promotion to Senior Member of excellent CIS members and - if you hold at least the Senior Member grade - make yourself available to serve as referee or nominator,
  • recommend promotion to the IEEE Fellow grade of uniquely outstanding CIS members and - if you hold at least the Fellow grade - make yourself available to serve as referee or nominator,
  • ensure women the same opportunities of men in your daily professional life and cooperate with WCIC.

Have you other ideas? Even the craziest could be highly valuable! Contact the Vice President for Members Activities and become one of our most proactive members!

We need each and every one of YOU!
